As concerns of the spread of COVID continue in groups of people in close proximity, we will again be hosting a Zoom meeting for the month of August. The presentation will be hosting by our VDACS State Bee Inspector Joshua Martin. His responsibilities include bees, nurseries, logs, ginseng, invasive insects, and tobacco. Joshua has a BS from Southern Illinois University with a major in plant and soil services. He will be presenting on Varroa mites and will be taking questions after the meeting. Zoom meeting link and password will be emailed to all current members of Piedmont Beekeepers Association.
October 16, 2025 Dr. Elena Black will present an introduction to the Apimaye Insulated Hive System.
November 20, 2025 Panel discussion on pertinent beekeeping topics and PBA holiday food drive.
December 18, 2025 Annual PBA Holiday Party.
